Care of Magical Creatures
Hello! My name is Professor Star! You are going to have a lot of fun in this class.
Today we are going to be learning about the Unicorn. Unicorn's are very beautiful. They have one horn in the middle of there head in between their ears. Unicorn's blood will help you stay alive if you keep drinking it. But, it is also a terrib;e death when you die. Unicorn's are rarely ever killed for this reason.
We have Unicorn's in the Forbidden Forest here at Hogwarts. Lately, some unicorn's have been attcked. If you ever see ashiny, silver, liquid, come and get a teacher immediately.
Unicorn's have been around a very long time. They were around before horse's were. However, they are not as old as pegasus'. Pegasus' have been around since Ancient Greek. You may have heard them being mentioned in Greek Mythology.
Well, that is the lesson for today. For your homework, I want you to write a 1 page story about a unicorn's daily life. Whether it hangs out with friends or what. Just describe an average day of a unicorn. The story must include dialogue. It has to be size 12 font and exactly one page long. More writing is Extra Credit. It is due on the date given to you on your schedule. Have a nice day!
Herbology
Hello class! My name is Professor Toadsnout! Today we are going to have a lot of fun!
Today we are going to be learning about Jugglenolia. The Jugglenolia is a plant that screams a lot. If anybody walks by it screams. If you touch it, it screams, and if you breath around it, guess what it does? The purpose of it's screaming is to keep animals away from it. You see, almost every magical animal loves to eat the Jugglenolia.
The Jugglenolia is a bright royal blue. On the tips of it are red blossoms. Jussglenolia's do taste really good. The tast kind of like a chocolate mint.
When the plant was first found, it was used as sidedishes at restaurants. Now days, scientists have found out what it really does. You see, this plant cures any common sickness. The good thing about it is, most magical families have it in their yards, so it doesn't cost any money. Well that is the lesson for today.
Now, for your homework. You need to go out in your yard and find a plant. It can be any plant. I want you to do research on the plant. You must cover the History of the plant, Characterisics, what the plant does, and what it tastes like. The report must be longer than 250 words and 4 paragraphs long. 5 sentences in a paragraph. Any extra information is Extra Credit. Have fun! Oh yeah, the homework is due on the date that was on your schedule. Have a nice day!
Quidditch Lessons
Hello! My name is Professor Moonlight! Today we are going to be learning the basics of Quidditch and how to fly.
Now first we need to learn how to fly. The first thing you do is yell "Up!" and the broom should come off the ground and go into your hands. After that, you get on the broom and kick off of the ground. Them to steer, you just lean whatever direction you want the broom to go. That is all you have to do.
Now, the rules of Quidditch. There is one Quaffle. That is the ball you have to try and get throught the posts. The Keeper guards the posts. There are 6 chasers. They chase after the Quaffle. There are 2 Bludgers. They are the balls that try to knock you off of your broom. 2 beaters have large bats and the keep the bludgers away from their team. The last ball is the most important. It is the golden snitch. The seeker's job is to catch the snitch and the game is over. Well those are the basics.
Now, for your homework. I want you to write about a broom that you have designed yourself. Describe what it looks like and how fast it goes. Tell me it's name, too. Your homework is due on the date specified on your schedule. See you again soon!
